Private Titus was discharged from the 19th Indiana on April 16th, 1862 for disability. On August 6th, 1862 he mustered into service with Company D of the 79th Ohio Infantry where he served until he mustered out on June 9th, 1865 in Washington D.C.
He died at the Soldiers Home in Marion Indiana.
