Joshua L. Sims

Mustered into service as a Corporal on July 29th, 1861

Died  27 January 1912

Buried Rest Haven Cemetery, Johnson County Indiana

Corporal Sims was captured at the Battle of Gettysburg on July 1st, 1863 but soon returned to the regiment. He mustered out of the service as a Sergeant in July of 1864. 

He filed for a pension in April of 1885.
