George W. Ribble

Mustered into service as a Private on July 29th, 1861

Died 12 January 1862

 

Private Ribble was admitted to the hospital soon after arriving in Washington D.C. in the fall of 1861. He came down with a bad case of remittent fever. He returned to duty in but was again put in the hospital in November with a case of measles and would die the following month of small pox.
