Henry J. Cain

Private Cain was wounded at the Battle of Gettysburg on July 1st, 1863 and again on May 5th, 1864 at the Battle of the Wilderness. On July 30, 1864 he was killed in action at Petersburg Virginia holding the rank of Sergeant.

His headstone at the City Point National Cemetery incorrectly says he was in a Maryland regiment.
